Dorothy Smith

Dorothy Smith was a regional costume designer for stage and screen. She was resident designer of the Heritage Theatre Festival 2009-17. Her last day job before retirement was Costume Shop Manager for the University of VA Drama Department 2011-18. Her best job was Site Facilitator of the Burnley-Moran Afterschool Program 1985-93. She organized experiential learning for 60 children daily grades K-4. In those years, she played every game and made every craft she ever wanted. She still loves playing theatre games.
