Classes

Virginia Book Arts offers a variety of classes that provide hands-on experiences and exposure to new skills, equipment and techniques. Our small class sizes provide exceptional attention and practical opportunities as our experienced instructors balance demonstration, work time, and group sharing. We foster the love for book arts and welcome all backgrounds and skill levels to join our classes and workshops.

When registering for a class all students agree that they’ve read and agree to our registration & safety policies.

All classes are held at our studio at 600 E. Water Street, Suite F, Charlottesville, VA 22902, unless otherwise noted. Parking is available on adjacent streets, or in one of two parking garages nearby. For longer classes, please bring lunch or a snack. Wear casual, comfortable clothes and shoes. The cost for each class is listed with the class description, VBA members will receive a 15% discount.

For cancellations more than 14 days prior to your class, amounts paid will be refunded to your original form of payment. For cancellations less than 14 days but more than 72 hours prior to your class, a cancellation fee of 50% of the course fee will be held and the remainder of amounts paid will be refunded.
There is no refund for cancellations less than 72 hours prior to your class. If VBA cancels a class due to instructor illness, inclement weather, or insufficient enrollment you will receive a full refund.
